About QuickGifts

Management

Want to get a feel for QuickGifts personality? Read about the leaders making QuickGifts a better system for all who utilize our applications and services. To say the least, QuickGifts is grateful to have these great people, each in their own right.

Beth Pearson

The enforcer. Responsible for client services and marketing programs, Beth is the real iron fist in the office. Her voice of reason keeps QuickGifts thinking deeper into new applications we are developing to increase the efficiencies in our users shopping experience. Beth's provocative questions are a clear indication that she is a seasoned internet player, spending time with nationally recognized e-commerce companies in high-times and low-times. Untainted by the lows, her QuickGifts spirit is revealed in her daily commitment to assisting with all daily operations. Assuming we can keep the Digg Crew from every taking her away, QuickGifts stands to be better off. Beth is QuickGifts Employee #3.

Emily Angle

Office mom. Keeping team members happy and customers unexpectedly delighted. As a front-line manager, she and her staff know how to take care of you when you need help. But watch out, just like the old days growing up when mom called you out for being out-of-line, she doesn't respond well to disrespectful customers. Please understand that she wants to understand your needs and work towards a quick resolution. Emily was our first employee of the month ever in April 2008. Sadly, she was never properly recognized at the time. Shame on us (really just boss). We are fortunate to have her around.

Matt Hall

Web Mistro. Notice the site performance is below par or you have an issue with our latest feature release - tell Matt, he'll be thrilled to hear about it. Not really, but he'll have his staff working until the issue is resolved. What is ironic is that he thoroughly review all the code developed before it is released. But in a time when the revolutionary iPhone v2 release can expose bugs designed by the industry’s finest, we are reminded that sometimes processes just don't act the same in production as they do in development. So we cut him some slack (very little). Matt is very good at his work, and a great student and teacher who has enormous potential to make a difference.

Shannon Young

Mr. Fulfillment. Single handedly, Shannon is our largest account expense - spending more money on a daily basis that sometimes can exceed all other operations in an entire month. To say the least, he ain't cheap. However, having him around, keeps our users around again and again - and he likes knowing the process works as intended. Understanding the true value of a dollar, Shannon genuinely cares about reducing small expenses that add up to a lot. It is no secret in the office that Shannon has a 'mancrush' on ESPN's Colin Cowherd, which he listens to every morning before turning up a little JB later in the day. Always poise, Shannon is prepared to act as the veteran he is when we something goes south, but equally as cool when the wind is at our back.

Stacy Young

Boss. According to him, he is responsible for managing the company's strategy and overseeing day-to-day operations. In reality, he spends his days hunkered down in a corner, occasionally leaving for a stretch then returning with visits to different team members desk asking for updates on old projects that have already been completed - then back to the corner. Fortunately his staff is intelligent and responsive to our users needs, independently keeping everything under control. In all fairness, he is a great guy and cares a lot about the team members inside and outside of the office.
